Welcome

Welcome to the new Geomara website. We hope you find it useful and informative. We will be updating the website regularly with news items and project details which will highlight our services and the benefit our people, equipment and knowledge bring to our clients.

Geomara have recently undertaken some restructuring. Finn Delaney has become the new Managing Director and has been tasked with increasing capacity across all sectors of Geomara’s operations.

2018 has seen Geomara work closely with our partners in Norfolk Marine to provide high resolution hydrographic condition surveys and Ad-Hoc surveys under our multi annual contract with E.ON for work on their windfarm fleet. So far this year we have completed surveys at Blyth, Robin Rig and Scroby Sands in the UK and at Kaarenhamn in Sweden.

We have also taken great pleasure in building on our strong relationship with ABCO in providing survey services in support of their dredging contracts in Killybegs and Ringaskiddy and their operations at the cable landing in Blyth for the North sea Link project.

In addition to this we have continued to provide Hydrographic Survey support to ongoing maintenance dredging projects at Aughinish Alumina and at Shannon Foynes Port Company.

Our state of the art high resolution Reson T50R MBES has proved invaluable on all of these projects and provides high quality point cloud data. We also pride our self on understanding our clients needs and providing outstanding deliverables which match the goals of the project.

The archaeological section have also been busy supporting a number of sub sea cable projects through the planning and surveys stages.

Geomara hope to continue providing quality hydrograpphic survey support  while also increasing capacity in order to further meet the needs of  our current and potential future clients.
