Geomara continue research in the application of hydrographic and geophysical techniques for mapping of alien invasive species

Geomara are continuing their research into the application of hydrographic and geophysical techniques for mapping of alien invasive species.  Currently they are utilising side scan sonar technology to assist with mapping of lagorasiphon on Lough Corrib, Ireland's second largest lake.  They are currently investigating the application of multibeam sonar technology as a tool for mapping asian clam densities and mass.
